This class explores the value of fairness and sharing. We will read The Little Red Hen (makes a pizza) by Philemon Sturges, and make our own pizzas from play-dough.

Big Sundays of Surprises (Grade 1-6)

The children will actively enact the life of a famous Unitarian minister and scientist, and get to wonder at a scientific demonstration.

Creating Home: Our Ancestral Home

This week’s lesson will introduce ancestors as those who came before us in our families, our ethnic and cultural heritages, our church and our faith denomination. The children will explore how ancestors can leave a legacy, and how we can receive it.

Blazes (Grades 2-3)

Free to Believe: We Can Make Decisions

This lesson helps children recognize that we make decisions and choices about important things, and our beliefs help us make them.

Mysteries (Grades 4-5)

Harry and UU: Defense Against the Dark Arts

In this week’s class the children will make Patronus Art and continue to discuss the Animal Cruelty Horcrux.

Questioners Middle Youth (Grades 6-7)

Traditions with a Wink: Spring Equinox

In this class, Middle Youth learn more about the universal symbols of springtime, particularly the egg as used in earth-centered religions.

Passages (Grade 8)

Coming of Age: The Local Story

This week the youth will learn about the history of our congregation, and locate places where the congregation honors its history.

Seekers Senior Youth (Grades 9-12)

The Senior Youth and their advisers will use this class to plan their summer curriculum and activities.
