The Rainbow Connection: Christmas and Hanukkah

This session explores the values of happiness and love, with recognition that people have traditions from different religious beliefs. The class will read Light the Lights! A Story About Celebrating Hanukkah and Christmas by Margaret Moorman, and the children will make a pretty candleholder.

Big Sundays of Surprises (Grade 1-6)

What Connects Us?: Love is the Golden Rule

This session emphasizes love as the Golden Rule and inspires participants to embrace love as a golden rule in their lives.

Sparks Preschool/Flames (Age 3 – Grade 1)

Wonderful Welcome: Christmas and Hanukkah

Sunday’s lesson explores the values of happiness and love, with recognition that people have traditions from different religious beliefs. The class will read Light the Lights! A Story About Celebrating Hanukkah and Christmas by Margaret Moorman, and the children will make a pretty candleholder. Children are invited to bring pennies from home for a penny collection.

Harry and UU: Christmas with Harry Potter

This combined class will learn how Harry Potter celebrated Christmas at Hogwarts. We’ll play a game of Table Top Quidditch and make Golden Snitch Christmas tree ornaments.

Passages (Grade 8)

Coming of Age: Stillness, Silence, and Meditation

In this week’s session the youth will experience different methods of meditation as a spiritual practice, and reflect on their experiences by journaling.

Seekers Senior Youth (Grades 9-12)

Neighboring Faiths: Earth-Honoring Service.

This Sunday the Senior Youth will integrate the experience of earth-centered religion and spirituality with Unitarian Universalist belief and practice by creating their own worship service
