Little Sundays of Surprises (Age 3- Grade K)

The Rainbow Connection: Thanksgiving

This session explores the value of gratitude. The class will read The Thankful Book by Todd Parr and the children will draw a picture of what they are thankful for.

Big Sundays of Surprises (Grade 1-6)

What Connects Us?: Love Builds Trust

This session looks to the seventh Source of Unitarian Universalism, “Faithful words and actions that shape our Unitarian and Universal heritage.” This class will introduce the UU expression and service in India, through the work of Reverend Margaret Barr, and promote cultural understanding as a way to let love guide us.

Sparks Preschool/Flames (Age 3 – Grade 1)

Wonderful Welcome: The Gift of Learning Together

This sessionwill convey the idea that everyone, regardless of age, has something to teach and something to learn, and that living our UU principles depends on our willingness to learn together.

Blazes (Grades 2-3)

Super Heroes of the Bible: Queen Esther Saves Her People

The children will learn the Purim story. They will hear about Esther’s courage, and talk about when they did something they were afraid to do.

Mysteries (Grades 4-5)

Harry and UU: Double Herbology

This week the class will learn that plants have healing properties that can be viewed as magical. Herbal fragrances have been used for thousands of years to protect our spirits and heal our bodies.

Questioners Middle Youth (Grades 6-7)

Riddle and Mystery: Life As Mystery

This week the program poses the Big Question "Do I Have a Soul?” The session will offer the concept of soul as a way of understanding the nonphysical self, and encourage youth to explore their core spirit and beliefs.

Passages (Grade 8)

Coming of Age: Prayer

In this week’s session the youth will process feelings about and experiences with prayer. They will create prayer beads and learn ways to use them.

Seekers Senior Youth (Grades 9-12)

Senior Youth attend worship - no class.
