Progress on the Sanctuary Renovation ~ Proxies cannot be utilized in all meetings, but our first effort with proxies was successful for our congregational meeting on July 8, with a couple of forms not completed as we had intended.

Our church was well represented when 20 volunteers served at the Holy Grill during our recent week of service.   Volunteers from our church serve the daily lunchtime meal twice each year in rotation with volunteers of member congregations of the Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge, which

UCBR's own Marie Flowers will again direct the annual gospel choir. The choir will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, July 11 at 6:30 pm, so plan ahead if you'd like to participate in this fun summer music-making experience. The gospel services will be August 5
