This session will help the children acknowledge the friends they have made in class, and feel connected to their UU identity and congregation.

Big Sundays of Surprises (Grade 1-6)

Timeless Themes: The Teachings of Jesus

The children will consider the various ways that we treat each other, and what Jesus had to say about this.

Sparks Preschool (Ages 3-4)

Story Time: I Have Four Names for My Grandfather/ My Island Grandma. The children will explore their relationships with their grandparents or other older relatives or friends.

Flames (Grades K-1)

Building Character from the Start: Activities to foster creativity, literacy, and play: Those Can-Do Pigs

In this session, the children will explore the story Those Can-Do Pigs and talkabout things that they can do, even when some people think they can’t.

Blazes (Grades 2-4)

Building Character with True Stories from Nature: Cats

This session helps the children to consider analogies between behaviors of cats and character traits of people, such as curiosity and playfulness.

Questioners Middle Youth (Grades 5-7)

Popcorn Theology: Life is Like a Box of Chocolates

This lesson includes viewing the movie Forrest Gump. Supporting discussion and activities will help the youth examine how having a positive attitude can make a difference in their lives. 

Passages (Grades 8-9)

Coming of Age: The Meaning and Practice of Leadership

In this session the youth will identify their own leadership qualities, and learn about different styles of leadership and how these styles complement and support each other.  

Seekers Senior Youth (Grades 10-12)

Attend worship this Sunday to support our graduating seniors.
