Shared Offerings

One Sunday each month, half our cash offering is donated to an organization designated by the Board of Trustees.

In 2011 these organizations have benefited from our shared offerings:

Health Centers in Schools.  They are a nonprofit organization in collaboration with East Baton Rouge public schools that provides free health services. Health Centers in Schools provides on-site medical and mental health services with health centers on 11 school campuses; 

Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area. They are a Baton Rouge based organization that serves ten parishes in the state. Whether you are an individual with Alzheimer’s, a family member or caregiver they have valuable information and support to help you cope with Alzheimer’s;  

O'Brien House is a residential treatment and community outreach center, saving lives from alcoholism and drug abuse; 

Red Cross of Louisiana... assisting  in flood relief in Louisiana.

Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge is a private non-profit organization that coordinates services of 104 other family-oriented groups.  These programs provide services to assist  families in meeting health, social and economic needs  identified in our community.  Nearly 30,000 families were served in 2010.

Atchafalaya Basin Keepers is a non-profit agency promoting ecological protection for the Basin.

Youth Oasis is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing necessary  resources and support services to homeless or at-risk youth.
