Fall Annual Budget Drive for 2013

Our Annual Budget Drive for fiscal year 2013: Jan 1 through December 31, 2012  will launch on September 30. During the month of October, every member will be asked to complete a financial commitment form pledging their financial support for the 2013 operating budget of our church as well as a committment to the Great Expectations Capital Growth Fund Drive. You should consider your financial commitment in the context of the broader mission & ministry of the congregation: your personal connection and engagement, the warmth of authentic community, the opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, the nurture of our children in Religious Education, our congregation's support to the surrounding community, the support for people who need caring and our consistent availability people who seek welcome in our congregation.

Important dates for our Annual Budget Drive for 2013:

 

  • Visiting Stewards: Orientation Weekend September 28-29
  • Launch Sunday: 30 September
  • Celebration Sunday: November 4.

 

Our Consultant

We have retained a consultant, Mark Ewert, from the UUA Congregational Stewardship Services. Mark visited our congregation during an assessment visit the weekend of January 14-16, 2012 and spoke briefly from the pulpit on January 16. He also provided training for our Visiting Stewards in 2011, as well as direction for our 2012 Annual Budget Drive.  He recently conducted a Feasibility Study for the Capital Growth Campaign in August, 2012.
